Our house is part of the soul of the city: the Old Village called Gasteiz, the oldest street in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Here, where every stone holds centuries of memory, stands La Casa de Santa María, a home that has witnessed generations since the 11th century.
In 2012 we decided to bring this place back to life, refurbishing it with love and respect for its essence. We have preserved its original structure, built almost a thousand years ago, and we have worked with fine materials such as iron and wood, which today coexist with modern comfort.
We wanted you to feel that balance of history and warmth when you walk through the door. Hence, the décor is simple and cosy. La Casa de Santa María is more than just accommodation, it is the perfect home for a getaway to Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Parking Artium is the closest parking lot to Casa Santa María. It’s the best option if you’re coming by car.
The station is within walking distance. From there, the route is a pleasant stroll through the centre.
The station is a bit further away, but don’t worry: with public transport you’ll be here in 10 minutes.
Foronda airport is about 20 minutes away by taxi. Easy, straightforward and hassle free.
